Witnesses sought to incident involving 65-year-old found unconscious near South Molton
A motorcyclist who was flown by Devon Air Ambulance to hospital on Saturday morning is critical in hospital as of Monday evening, after being found unconscious on the road near South Molton on Saturday morning.
The 65-year-old Barnstaple man, who hasn't yet been named, received first aid at the scene following a collision between his Suzuki motorcycle and another vehicle near Filleigh Village Hall just after 8am.
A man and a woman arrested shortly after have been released under investigation of various traffic offences. Weather conditions at the time were good with clear visibility.
The biker remains in a life-threatening condition in hospital, and the road was closed for 15 hours. Police ask witnesses to call 101, quoting log 825 of 23 June. Calls cost 15 pence.
