An Exeter charity says people with brain injuries are being subjected to unnecessary and unfair reassessments of their eligibility for benefits.
It's happening as a result of the welfare system reforms, which are also seeing local disabled people being told they're fit for work.
The Exeter charity Headway says the authorities seem unaware that brain injuries don't heal like other wounds - so people who've been judged eligible for benefits aren't likely to become capable of working.
