Pedestrian hit early Sunday morning
A 39-year-old woman's in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a vehicle in the early hours of Sunday morning.
She was on the main A386 Churchill Way at Northam, Bideford when she was struck by a vehicle driven by a 69-year-old local man at 1.18 a.m.
The road was closed overnight for a forensic examination. Police want witnesses to call 101, quoting log 84 of 12 August. Calls cost 15 pence.
