Police helicopter and dogs involved in search
A teenage boy has been arrested following a large incident in Bodmin which involved the police helicopter, dogs, and a large police presence in the town.
They were called on Saturday afternoon to a report of an assault and robbery at a property in St Mary’s Road.
A man in his thirties sustained injuries to his hand and was treated in hospital although his injuries are not life threatening or changing.
A 17-year-old from Bodmin was taken into custody on suspicion of robbery and possession of Class A drugs.
Police say there is no known wider threat to the public. The investigation is in its early stages and is being progressed by both uniformed officers and detectives.
