Police in Exeter searching for a missing 78 year old woman have discovered a body. Joan Russell was last seen on Friday 15th November at her home in Exeter.
Police divers searching the river Exe discovered the body of a woman in the weir near the Port Royal Public House at around 2 o'clock this afternoon.
Although the body has yet to be formally identified, her family have been informed of developments.
