A body has been found on waste ground off Exeter's Blackall Road after an extensive search for a 38 year old woman.
Gergana Prodanova was reported missing after she failed to turn up for work on Monday 8th August.
An extensive search was carried out for the Bulgarian mother of three, who was last seen in CCTV footage on Thursday 4th of August.
A 42 year old Exeter man was charged with her murder and appeared before magistrates on Monday. Kostadin Kostov was remanded into custody until a court date in September.
The human remains have yet be formally identified, but Gergana's family in Bulgaria have been informed.
In a statement, police have thanked the public for their co-operation with the investigation.
