The annual poppy appeal has been launched in Exeter this weekend, with the Royal British Legion opening a stall in the Guildhall shopping centre.
It carries the words 'Live On - To the memory of the fallen and the future of the living' reflecting the work the Legion do to support ex-service personnel.
The Legion is pleased to have so many volunteers helping on the stall, including serving soldier David Cartwright who's doing it to express his gratitude for the help he received when he became ill.
The stall will be there until November 11th.
