A special event's taking place in Axminster today to help those who lost their jobs at Axminster Carpets earlier this year.
Since the large-scale redundancies, many people have started up their own businesses or expressed an interest in doing so.
An all-day drop-in event is being held where potential entrepreneurs can get free advice, meet business service providers such as IT and marketing companies, and find out how to access up to £500 in grant funding to pay for specialist support..
It's been organised by the Business Information Point in conjunction with Making It Local, a locally-managed grants scheme.
