Cable will connect Budleigh with France

Drilling is being carried out on the seabed near Budleigh Salterton as part of plans for a power cable connecting France and Britain. .

Information is being gathered to determine the cable route for the planned interconnector power cable.

Ships are advised to avoid survey vessels which are operating off the East Devon coastline for the next few weeks
