Police in Crediton are thanking the local community for their help in uncovering a large quantity of cannabis plants.
Officers were alerted to the property in Mill Street where the Neighbourhood Policing Team and officers from the Scenes of Crime Unit discovered two cannabis cultivations.
Two people were arrested for drug related offences and released on bail.
PS Dave MACFADDEN the Neighbourhood Team Leader for Crediton and Cullompton said: “I would like to publically thank our local communities for supplying us with the information that has lead us to uncover this cannabis cultivation. This is a great result for all involved.
"Crediton is a safe place to live and work but it’s not immune to this type of crime and offence being committed every now and then. The strong and pungent smell will always give you away however hard you try to get rid of it. The smell can be a massive problem to others and lead to constant headaches and generally feeling unwell.
