Emergency services, including the air ambulance, attended a serious collision yesterday lunchtime (Tuesday 3rd December)
They were called at 12.55pm to reports a car had hit a tree on the A379 near Kenton.
Fire crews had to release the casualty from the vehicle and he was airlifted to Derriford hospital in Plymouth.
Police have now issued an appeal for any witnesses, or any drivers with dash cam footage to come forward.
His red Subaru Impreza was the only vehicle involved.
