Police are appealing to the public following a serious collision which left one man with serious injuries.
At approximately 5.47pm on Monday 12 December, a single vehicle collision occurred on the A361 at Crazy Loman Bridge, Tiverton.
A white Scania car transporter, travelling in the direction of Bolham, left the road causing it to roll into the nearside. The vehicle was transporting approximately ten cars.
A male driver was trapped for over two hours whilst emergency services worked to free him. The man was taken to The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the collision, the road was closed for several house whilst a recovery was made for all of the vehicles.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnesses the crash or who saw the transporter prior to the collision.
