Controversial cost-cutting proposals go before Teignbridge councillors this morning.
The council plans to stop paying for CCTV cover in towns, and to close 17 public toilets across the district.
Options for keeping the cameras operating could include getting businesses to pay towards them, or bringing in volunteers to man them.
