Research involving the Exeter University medical school has found that young women are failing to recognise the symptoms of cervical cancer.... leading to a delay in diagnosis.
The research, led by Kings College London, found that over a quarter of those diagnosed had waited more than three months before going to the doctor.
A vaccine has been introduced in schools.. but women who haven't had it should be particularly aware of the symptoms, which include unusual bleeding.
