An Exeter charity helping homeless people has expressed shock at the news of the young woman killed by a fallen tree while sleeping rough in the city.
The 21 year old was in a tent near Western Way when a huge tree came down during Saturday night's storms... also bringing down a wall on to the tent.
Two men aaged 27 and 35 were also injured.
The charity Nightstop works to prevent young people who can't live with their families from having to sleep rough... co-ordinator Kevin Hunter said the tragic death shows how vulnerable to danger homeless people can be.
He also says November has been the Exeter charity's busiest month ever.
