Devon's fire service are warning people not to buy cheap phone chargers after one caught fire in Exmouth.
The owner suffered a burn which needed hospital treatment as they smothered the fire to put it out.
The fire could easily have spread and caused a major blaze.
The fire service says the charger had been bought from a pound shop and could have cost about 3 pence to make - people are urged to use the chargers supplied by the manufacturers of their device.
