A teenage girl has been airlifted to hospital after being hit by a car near Ilfracombe.
She was walking on the A361 at Dean Cross, when she was in a collision with a white MG ZS.
She is being treated for serious injuries at Bristol Royal Infirmary.
The occupants of the car were uninjured.
Police are asking for anyone who was either following or passing the number 21 double decker stagecoach bus at around 4.10pm on Wednesday at or on the approach to West Down to get in touch by calling 101 quoting log number 583 of 16 July.
