Today's the last day at work for the long-serving coxwain of Exmouth RNLI, Tim Mock. He's been with the lifeboat charity for nearly 34 years.
Tim's last job with the RNLI is providing safety cover for the annual Christmas Day swim this morning - afterwards he'll officially hand over his pager and the keys to the boathouse.
However he'll retain a family connection with the RNLI - his 19 year old son Henry is a volunteer crew member and already one of its youngest Head Launchers.
