There's concern that thousands of people in Devon who're looking after sick or disabled relatives are missing out on help, support and financial assistance.
A Carers Rights day is taking place at the Exeter Guildhall today where people can find out exactly what practical and financial resources are available for them.
As well as the Devon Carers group, who've organised the event, there are/will be advisers from Age UK, Welfare Rights, and Exeter Community Transport.
Devon Carers says many people fail to seek help because they may not even see themselves as a carer - but in fact anyone who looks after a sick or disabled partner, relative or friend is probably eligible for suppport.
