Exeter and Exmouth are both celebrating success in the Britain in Bloom competition.
Exeter's Northernhay Gardens has been named the best park in the south west - and Exmouth has won a gold award - for the fourth consecutive year.
Four areas of Exeter also won awards in the Village category.... Pennsylvania, St James, St Thomas and St Davids.
It was the first time for 10 years that Exeter had entered as a city - although local communities had won individual prizes before.
