Police are looking for witnesses after the robbery on Friday night (10th)
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information following a robbery near Torquay.
The incident took place between 9.20pm and 9.30pm on Friday 10th of August at the CO-OP on Walnut Road, in the Chelston area.
Two unknown male offenders entered the store and threatened staff.
One offender reportedly entered the till area and threatened a member of staff with a knife before taking around £300 cash from the till.
The second offender assaulted a member of staff who came to intervene. He punched him to the face, causing his glasses to break.
The first offender was wearing a blue hoody. The second offender was reported to be wearing a light grey hoody with the hood up and tightened over his face.
