The Exeter coach firm Carmel Coaches is to cease trading next month, after losing an appeal against the loss of its operating licence.
The licence was revoked during the summer because of a series of safety failures.
The company is a family business which has served the Exeter and West Devon area for 30 years and has around 50 employees.
It's due to close down on November 14th.
