Dawlish Community college is celebrating the launch of a new Trust to run the school and work in collaboration with others in the area.
The Trust, whose members include school governers, have taken over ownership of the land and buildings, although staff are still paid directly by the Devon local education authority.
Trustees include representatives of Exeter College, Flybe and the county council.
