East Devon district council are going to court today.... in a bid to keep documents relating to their relocation plans secret.
The council is challenging a decision by the Information Commissioner that it should have published reports by the relocation project manager.
The local authority plans to sell its current offices at Knowle in Sidmouth and move to a site at the Skypark near Exeter.
Critics have questioned its insistence that modernising the Knowle buildings would be too expensive... and today's hearing follows a Freedom of Information request by a local resident.
