Exeter City Council is launching a campaign against the high air passenger tax... which local airline Flybe blames for the financial problems leading to it making 300 job cuts.
Regional airlines operating a lot of domestic flights are hit particularly hard ... as the tax has to be paid on both departures.
The city council will be asking local MPs to lobby the Government on the issue, and will also be contacting other regional airports.
