Devon county council is to demand Government action to ensure the area's road and rail links are fit for purpose.
There's been all-party support for a proposal to that effect by the council's deputy leader John Clatworthy.
He says the Government is spending 70 billion pounds on rail improvements including the high-speed line.... but none of it is coming to the west country.
