A leading Devon county councillor has been cleared of breaching the authority's Code of Conduct after complaints she favoured Tory colleagues.
Sara Randall Johnson was in charge of the Health scrutiny committee, when it discussed the proposed reduction in beds, in some of the county's hospitals. The standards committee say she didn't breach the rules, but her actions in not selecting a critical motion, didn't reflect well on the council's reputation.
Independent Claire Wright is welcoming the decision to remind her of her neutrality.
