Cowick Street in Exeter has the second highest accident rate in Devon.
It is now the subject of a safey review by Devon County Council.
A number of junctions, particularly at the First and Last pub and Buller Road, have been highlighted as well as the new exit from Exe Bridges and the siting of the bus stop at First and Last.
While no formal plans have been drawn up by the Council it is looking at safety improvements that strike a balance between the needs of pedestrians, drivers and bus users.
