It started on Monday night in Staverton.
Fire fighters from across South Devon and Torbay have spent the night tackling a blaze at a barn.
They were called to the village of Staverton near Totnes at 10.20pm last night (Monday 10th February) to reports of the fire.
The 10m x 10m agricultural building was used for general store housing.
Two engines remained on the scene overnight to dampen down.
Sharing an update of Facebook, crews from Modbury Fire Station said: "Modbury have just returned home station to clean down, scrub hose and wash kit after a very early shout this morning. We were required as relief crew at 02:20 this morning to a barn fire. On arrival we got to work damping down hot spots and shuttling water from the nearest hydrant. Due to the instability of the remaining structure, access was not allowed inside the barn for safety reasons. All crews had to remain working from the outside."
