Domestic incident sparks armed response
A woman has a leg injury and a man has what police describe as a "throat laceration" following a domestic incident in North Devon.
Armed police were called to an incident in Dyers Close, Braunton on Friday at 3.10pm and cordoned off the area. The injured man is said to be have very serious injuries and was rushed to Derriford Hospital.
Some people are reporting that a crossbow may have been used.
Chief Inspector Ali Lander described the incident "isolated and contained." No one else is being sought.
