A Just Giving page has been set up to raise money to pay the vets' bills for the Exeter cat severely injured in an acid attack.
The 10-year-old tortoiseshell called Georgie staggered home with much of her fur burned off earlier this week.
Her owner Lyn Prewer, who lives in the Broadfields area, rushed her to the vets, who have been doing everything they can to treat her.
A £500 reward has been offered for information leading police to whoever attacked Georgie.
