Litter scattered across beauty hotspot
Washing machines, wardrobes and shattered windows were some of the items dumped on Dartmoor earlier this week. It came after lockdown restrictions were eased - allowing people to travel indefinite distances for recreation and exercise.
Giles Hook, who took the photos and shared them on Facebook, wrote: "I came across this on my drive to work this morning. In a national park! What is wrong with people? Where's the respect for their environment (and themselves)?"
West Devon District Council has been informed and their contractors will remove the fly tips next week, we've been told.
