Exeter's Labour party will be demonstrating at St David's Rail Station this morning over the rising cost of fares.
They say ticket prices have gone up by 25 per cent since 2010 - far outstripping any increase in most people's wages.
The latest rise, averaging 1 point 1 per cent, came into effect on Saturday.
The party are calling for an end to rail privatisation, and want the public to have more say in how the railways are operated.
