Work is expected to begin today on knocking down the remains of the Royal Clarence Hotel in Exeter
A 95 ton demolition machine arrived in the Cathedral Green yesterday and today it's expected to start taking down the front wall. Once that is removed firefighters are expected to be able to access the inside of the gutted hotel.
A cordon in the city centre is expected to be further reduced today..as around thirty businesses are still closed.
