7 foot model Gorilla in Dawlish receives complaints for looking into peoples homes
Robert Phipps, business owner at Safari Adventure Golf, says: "We came up with a safari themed golf course as it was something different. We placed the gorilla facing the road, facing into buildings opposite. Within an hour, a lady came over and was very upset as it was looking through her window.
"So, we found another spot to put the Gorilla with his back facing the road and we had several other complaints that the residents would have rather looked at his face than his backside! It's cause a lot of controversy in Dawlish.
"There isn't anywhere else I can put the Gorilla, we are limited to where we can put him. The residents that live the other side of the road are over the moon, because they can see him properly!"
