A software architect from North Devon has been crowned the World Dad Dancing Champion.
Phil Drury-Grant, a father of four, showcased his moves at DadFest in Beeson near Kingsbridge over the weekend.
Following a day filled with outdoor activities such as fishing, wrestling, archery, and forest school, fathers took to the dance floor to flaunt their skills.
Dressed in various costumes and armed with enthusiasm, the dads competed for the title. Five children served as judges for the entertaining competition, and Phil emerged victorious.
His distinctive dance style captivated the judges, earning him a prize of his height in beer, a gold trophy, and a complimentary ticket to next year’s event.
The DadFest has been gaining popularity since it began in 2014. This year's gathering drew over 200 fathers and children, marking it as one of the most successful events to date.
