A dispersal order in a village near Exeter has split opinion there....with many residents saying it's an over reaction.
Police can now move on groups of more than two people in Silverton after reports of violence and intimidation in the area.
The village has a population of around 1500, but many say these measures, which are normally used in larger towns and cities, are just not needed.
They say any problems can be dealt with by using normal policing measures and community groups.
