Motorists in Devon are being warned by traffic police to take care on the roads.
They say it's bitterly cold and sleety rain is falling. They're suggesting people should allow extra time for their journeys today.
There were accidents on the M 5 and A 30 in East Devon last night in icy conditions, but noone was injured.
