Residents of a Honiton care home will celebrate Easter with some eggs with a difference today.
Every year the Abbeyfield Society's Hill House home arranges for a delivery of real hen's eggs so that the elderly residents can watch real chicks hatching out in the presence of their mothers.
Many of them kept chickens in their younger days and love seeing the baby chickens emerging.
Some have even knitted woollen jackets for the mother hens.
