    Employability challenge for students

Exeter University, the city council and a range of local companies are getting on board an initiative to help young people develop 'employability' skills.

Many employers say younger candidates for jobs often lack five key skills including team-working, problem solving and customer service.

The 'Focus Five' scheme involves school and college students creating their own projects which use those skills, and carrying them out with the help and support of local businesses.
