There have been calls for Exeter to have better public transport, a daily market, more street theatre and more going on after shop-closing hours.
Those are some of the ideas put forward in an event to help the city council draw up its strategy for how Exeter should develop and change over the next 10 years.
The event yesterday evening brought together representatives from local businesses, members of the arts and culture scene, local historians, police and Exeter city football club.
