The roof cladding, handrails and anti-slip treads have been the most recent development on the £3.5 million project.
The demolition of Exeter City Football Club’s historic Old Grandstand, which dates back to 1926, started on Monday, October 30. Nine months later, it's set to be completed.
The new stand will seat 1,600, and although the capacity will be the same as the previous stand, it will offer a vastly enhanced fan experience, improvements to the toilets, refreshments and away-end facilities. As part of the scheme, new changing rooms have been constructed under the IP Office stand. Replacement toilets and refreshment facilities will be provided for the Big Bank, and the away-end improved, including the purchase of a stand from Barnet FC.
The latest development has seen the roof cladding, handrails and anti-slip treads now completed.
