Grecians will travel to the Etihad
Exeter City will travel to Premier League giants Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the third round of the FA Cup.
At a time when finances are tight at St James Park, this lucrative away draw against one of the biggest clubs in world football could prove vital for the Grecians.
Exeter reached the fourth round last season after a strong run before losing to Nottingham Forest on penalties.
It’s not the first time a Devon side has faced Manchester City either. Plymouth Argyle travelled to the Etihad last season and shocked many by taking the lead before City responded and went on to win 3-1.
Exeter will now prepare for their own trip to Manchester with the hope of producing a memorable FA Cup moment. The tie will be held on the weekend of January 10th, 2026.
