Dozens of Exeter organisations who've pledged to become 'dementia friendly' have come together at an official launch event.
Organisations whose staff have already had awareness-raising and training sessions include the Met Office, a bank, two law firms, and various GPs' surgeries and care homes.
The police are also expected to come on board - and so is the Exeter Picture House which hopes to arrange screenings of easy-to-follow films suitable for those with the condition.
