Two men are appearing at Exeter Magistrates Court today following the death of a man at the weekend.
Twenty seven year old Joseph Wake is said to have fallen from a raised area onto the pavement of Exwick Road. He was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, but died from serious head injuries.
Craig Melhuish, who's 38, and thirty four year old Colin Smith, both from Exeter, are charged with manslaughter.
A 34 year-old woman and a 41 year-old man from the city have been bailed until August.
