Exeter University has been named University of the Year in next year's Sunday Times Guide.
The Guide bases its ratings on students' experiences, gathering their views on the quality of their teaching, assessment and academic feedback.
The league table also takes into account the graduate outcomes, in terms of jobs, degrees and the prospect of completing courses.
Exeter is rated seventh in the league as well as being awarded the top prize.
