Exeter City Council have had to close the footpath behind the bandstand in Northernhay Gardens, Exeter after a hole appeared.
Taking to Twitter, the council said: "If you want to cut through from New North Rd to Queen Street you will now have to take a sharp left up into the park instead of using the footpaths overlooking the railway line."
