Community groups in the city are being invited to take over the management of their parks and green spaces.
The city council is putting forward the idea in response to a cut in Government funding which makes it harder to maintain the public parks.
The council hopes local groups will take the opportunity to get more involved in the use and upkeep of these areas.
A meeting's taking place next month for anyone who's interested.
