The results have been released from a survey of Exeter residents on the local services they value most.
It covered parks, public safety, support services and art and culture.
More than half the respondents visited a park at least once a week, 66 per cent thought Exeter is a safe city, 54 per cent were against reducing council tax support, and 83 per cent opposed charging an entry fee at the RAMM museum.
The findings will help the city council decide how to cut spending over the next few years.
