More new shops are likely to open up in Exeter city centre, according to a local business leader.
Andrew McNealy is the manager of the Guildhall Shopping Centre and chairman of the city centre management partnership board.
He says Exeter is recovering from the recession much faster than many other places, and retailers are taking note:
"Retailers are just waiting for the right sized unit to become available, so we're in a very strong position."
